The Great Elisa: At 35 years old, Elisa De Hoyos is a wife, mother, and full-time artist on all levels with a love for crafting, acting, dancing, painting, and playing music. She is a multi-instrumentalist teaching children piano at a local music school. Along with being a teacher, she is a self-taught accordionist for three different bands; Texas Sweethearts, I Ching Gatos, and Monstruo Bohemio.
Newly Departed: A card of Jesus Christ is placed on top of the newly departed. A symbol for everyone in the hospital to know all efforts were exhausted. This soul has left this world.

There's been others, she says, before her but due to the conservative views of the past, those dancers leave the town to big cities, where this art form is recognized. She is determined with her aerial school, the only school in the region, to stay and offer a different opportunity to the new generation of the town.
